Avery’s interest in graphic design and how design can influence the way people think, was something that started with her photography class in high school. They would do critiques with the whole class and her teacher would talk about how the audience perceives the image, along with how these perceptions affect their emotions. What began as a love for photography quickly changed into a love for graphic design.

Avery is passionate about her career because it allows her to present and communicate information in a way that works best for the audience. As someone with ADHD and Dysgraphia, she’s long struggled to understand bad communication, she’s happy now to to be able to provide clear visual and written communication.
