Ken’s extensive field experience on the construction side of the industry helps him know what works and what doesn’t. “With that knowledge I’m able to provide a more cohesive design for the end user and limit the number of RFIs and change orders submitted by the contractor.” As a kid, Ken was introduced to the industry. “When I was young, my father’s architect friend noticed that I loved to draw ideas and put things together on paper,” Ken remembers. “One Christmas he gave me a set of drafting tools and grid paper, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Forty years later I still have the scale he gave me, and I use it frequently.” Ken also values the time he spends his wife, grown children, and grandson. And when his four dogs and one cat aren’t keeping him too busy, he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and working on old cars.
