Fresh out of college, Mark had interviewed with a number of companies including a sales engineer position with the local HVAC supplier. “They didn’t hire me, but recommended me to a local mechanical contractor who did.” Mark started off as an intern, and in three years, he became head of design and construction for the company. Mark joined K2M to help grow and build K2M’s engineering capabilities. He’s most excited about K2M’s philosophy of empowering people at every level of the organization. Mark said, “The Core Value that really resonates with me is ‘Be Good’ because it’s the foundation and a prerequisite for the other core values (Go Forward, Nurture Relationships, Learn & Lead).”
