Kate went back to school for mechanical engineering in her late 20s because her boss told her she wasn’t qualified to look for work-arounds for parts with supply issues. And while she was working through that undergrad, she found the Industrial Assessment Center at NC State, and it felt like a perfect union of her fiscal interests and engineering. As an added perk, she has loved her job because of the buildings she has been able to explore.

Kate is so excited about working with such a nice group of knowledgeable professionals. “The people are amazing at K2M” explains Kate.  Go Forward is the core value she most relates to, as she is typically trying to embrace this in her life. Life is not static, accepting this reality and facing change as an opportunity for growth makes obstacles less daunting.
