K2M Design has provided Architectural and Engineering services to the College of the Florida Keys for 4 years on a wide variety of projects Following Hurricane IRMA, we completed two significant emergency generator projects for the Key Largo branch of CFK.

K2M has provided Project Management, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Commissioning and Cost Estimating services for a new 2-story, 38,000 square foot building housing multiple STEM programs located at 106040 Overseas Highway and 717 Largo Road, Key Largo, Florida. This project will create a multi-purpose space intended to be used by various college programs and other private sector tenants. The total project budget including soft costs, construction, FF&E and contingency is $20,000,000. The CM at Risk Delivery method is being utilized for this project with construction complete by August 2021 and close-out and commissioning in November 2021. The Commissioning activities are to be performed consistent with all requirements set forth in LEED v4 for Energy and Atmosphere Prerequisite EA-pr1: Fundamental Building System Commissioning and Credit EA c3: Enhanced Commissioning, Option 1.
