Next project

K2M Design, in concert with HOK designed the new Medical Facility located on the CCI campus in Chillicothe, Ohio. The project is the replacement of an aging medical facility that is currently housed in one of the older buildings on campus.
The new facility will be 28,000 square feet on a site directly east of Dormitory C1/C2. The single-story facility is being designed to medium correctional security standards with medical clinic space, including the following: lobby/pill call area, clinic, dental clinic, infirmary, intake, transitional housing, and healthcare administration.
The 1.2-acre site selected within the campus had numerous challenges that the team has solved including site location, underground obstacles, soil conditions, utilities, hazardous materials and remnants of 100-year-old site.
We were also just engaged by OFCC and ODRC to renovate an existing dormitory for new Geriatric housing on the campus. The planning and programming is underway.
