Scott firmly believes in following your gut, which he says “will take you a long way.” In our discussion, he shares his insights on the breakthroughs he’s experienced as an entrepreneur, how he’s propelled innovative architecture and the journey of introducing his brand into the hospitality sector.
🏨Hospitality, in Scott’s view, is about the convergence of people and places. It’s about crafting exceptional experiences that facilitate connections, support dreams, and foster collaboration. It’s about organizations that are designed to spark the union of brilliant minds.
🏨Taking on a project requires more than mere acceptance; it demands an in-depth understanding of expectations, followed by not just fulfillment, but overachievement. In a business where referrals are key, one experience can potentially make or break million-dollar contracts.
Don’t miss out on this enlightening conversation with a game-changer in both the entrepreneurial and architectural arenas. Catch the episode via the links in the comments below!

The K2M Team integrates energy management consulting with clients’ plans, standards, and goals. We analyze energy usage to conserve energy, reduce costs, and enhance comfort. After assessing client facilities, we identify projects based on energy savings impact, cost-effectiveness and return on investment. Our professionals provide detailed cost estimates, lifecycle cost analysis, and cash flow models. Our services include audits, maintenance, and retrofit studies to minimize energy consumption. We create a baseline energy model using site visits, bills, interviews, and existing documentation, which is then adjusted to reflect actual usage, and model improvements associated with recommended projects. This graphic shows our energy assessment process.

Comments Off on Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites | Toledo, Ohio
As part of the revitalization of downtown Toledo, Ohio, the overall design of Hilton’s dual-brand hotel—Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites—pays homage to the city’s history as the “Glass Capital of the World.” Situated one block from the Maumee River, adjacent to the convention center and plaza, the existing property needed a top-to-bottom interior renovation to modernize and rebrand the previous owner’s outdated property. Natural textures and timeless elements important to the hotel brand are incorporated into the design.
