A childhood love of drawing and model building led to Andy’s pursuit of architecture as a career. He now has over 35 years of professional experience covering a wide variety of building types and currently leads the higher education practice. Andy loves the problem-solving nature of architecture and excels at facility programming, master planning and conceptual design – helping his clients to think “outside the box” in order to find that unique, “right fit” solution. He’s passionate about championing client priorities and collaborating with colleagues to create inspiring, state-of-the-art design solutions responsive to context, culture, and budget. K2M’s focus on building relationships based on trust and results resonates with him because it best describes his approach to serving clients. When not at K2M, Andy can likely be found on his road bike cycling with friends, working on that next home improvement project, sharing the art of angling with his family, or reading biographies and historical fiction.
